Since 1986...Now in our 24th year!

Our company in the Long Beach Island area started with one Chevy pickup and one trailer in September 1986. It has grown since then, growing to include three pickups and our GMC 6500. We also currently have seven trailers in total: four Hostar hydraulics, a pontoon trailer, a roller trailer for fitting into tight spots, and a 52' Gooseneck trailer for double stacking on long runs. Our equipment stands out for its clean and well maintained appearance. All trucks and trailers are some of the newest and best equipment on the market. SBBT has become the largest company of its kind, hauling 2,500 boats a year on average.

Our services include launching boats in the spring and taking out boats in the fall. We also haul boats, local and long distance, for a competitive price. We can dispose of older boats and salvage sunken boats, as well as handling emergency boat hauling. We do our own bottom painting and power washing and we can refer you to the best winter storage, shrink wrapping and winterization in the area to suit your needs.

We move boats for some of the largest boat dealerships in the area and around the country, such as Marine Max, Ocean Beach Marine, Waterfront Marine, and Causeway Marine, as well as having close working relationships with marinas up and down the east coast. We haul Sea Rays, Chaparrals, Cobalts, Pursuits, and Wellcrafts, just to name a few. We have done indoor and outdoor boat shows in the tri state area for a number of years. Our salvage services are recognized by insurance companies and we will work directly with them to ensure the payment has been properly distributed. We have even done hurricane recovery work; most notably for Hurricane Katrina.
Our services are fully licensed and insured and we have the required operating authority and DOT numbers to haul out of state. Our drivers all have commercial drivers licenses (CDL’s) and are pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable. Most importantly, they know how to haul, block off, and ramp the most difficult boats. We take pride in every boat we haul and are known for getting your boat into hard to reach spots.
